Swing

The Swing carries the most memory of the three Zevar pieces. A jhoola is furniture almost every Indian home has known; here it returns strung like a necklace, its lacquered beads catching light as it moves.

Cotton rope, lathe-turned bead droplets as counterweights, and a seat that cradles rather than presents. Of all the pieces, this is the one people cannot resist touching — which is exactly the point.
